Eliot Doyle

As founder of a Rush tribute band, Modern Day Warriors, Eliot has the chops to get 'tricky' with the drum parts when the piece calls for it. However, he also knows how to 'get his groove on' when the time is right. Eliot and Joe Alvaro (bass) became my terrific twosome. They had never worked together before yet they achieved a very quick mind-meld and cooked up some sick grooves 'on the fly' when we were rehearsing. Eliot did an awesome job interpreting what I had in mind when I was trying to communicate the direction of a song with 'air drumming' and comments along the lines of "that part you played about half way through the second chorus was really cool. Can you expand on that?" (Yes, I then learned the importance of taping rehearsals).
