Ginger Pimentel
When I first saw Ginger perform with her band Raincity (an absolute "must see" band if they come to your town!), I remember making a mental note: "If ever I need a bass player for something, give Ginger a call." She was a ball of energy on stage and laid down one irresistable groove after another (as befitting a high energy funk band with jazz influences). The deal was sealed when I discovered she was a huge Chris Squires fan!
I gave her free rein to try different ideas with "I Draw the Line" (the first song we collaborated on) and her changes towards the end of the song took the energy to a whole new level.
