Joe Alvaro
Joe has been a mainstay of the Vancouver music scene for as far back as I can remember. If Joe was in a band, you knew it would be a top calibre band. He has a remarkable ability to come up with cool parts 'on the fly' and he does a great job of subtley changing up his parts from one verse to the next to keep it interesting. Joe and Eliot (on drums) were the only two players I got to rehearse with in person, locally, on any kind of a regular basis and I can't imiagine working out the arrangements on the newer songs without their involvement. There was many a time I couldn't play my parts properly because I was so enjoying what they were coming up with, I couldn't concentrate on my own parts! (That's my story and I'm sticking with it!)
